Code of Ethics:
All IOSUP members should make the effort to be as professional as possible when teaching, comply with their community’s obligations, be a good citizen, an example for their students and for those involved in the SUP environment. IOSUP members must hold high moral values to advance our profession’s ideas.
1.Members’ behaviour should be honest and sportingly at all times. They should behave in a professional manner both in and out of the water.
2.Members are obliged to comply with their financial obligations promptly and to respect any agreements entered into.
3.They should improve their professional objectives and development by participating in educational activities, seminars, conferences, etc. with the aim of constantly improving their professional status.
4.They will be respectful of themselves, of others and of the environment, whether it be where they carry out their professional activities or in any other place.
5.Members agree to disseminate and teach SUP rules and ideals both in letter and spirit.
6.Members will develop a healthy outlook, respect for colleagues and for the IOSUP, following basic common sense rules.
Therefore IOSUP members should conduct themselves in an ethical, intelligent, respectful and compassionate way. The common good benefits the whole organisation.
